Who we are:

The Secret Sauce Conference is a discipleship gathering hosted by Vineyard Florence Church in Northern Kentucky (a suburb of Greater Cincinnati).

Today when we learn about church growth it mainly centers on do whatever a church can to get the most magetic personality, put together posh and cool programs, and find the right place to meet and you can add lots of people and grow a BIG church.

In our experience disciple-making movements are not devoid of any of these but are not dependent on any of them either. Rather, the Secret Sauce of disciple-making movements throughout history, cultures, and geographically has always been the Prayers, Practices, and Power of the Spirit that brings mass multiplication of conversions and disciples.

At Vineyard Florence Church, over the past four years, we’ve been on a deep dive into what it could look like to be not only a disciple-making church but be part of a movement in 21st century North America. We have been on this sojourn as a local body, with many other churches, movements, and everyday disciple-makers.

Out of this journey, the Secret Sauce Conference was born—this is a conference designed for anyone who wants to be a disciple, is a disciple, wants to make more disciples, is a pastor, ministry leader, church member, or movement leader with a passion for seeing others come to know how to Hear the voice of God for themselves, Obey what they’ve heard, and Share what has been learned fluidly and regularly with others.

2025 Theme: The Prayer, Practices, and Power of Viral Disciple-Making Movements

This year, we are excited to welcome leaders and speakers from across the U.S. and around the world—people who have witnessed tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands, encounter Jesus through effective disciple-making movements. Together, we’ll explore:

• Prayer: Rediscover the essential role of prayer, fasting, silence, Sabbath, how to read the Bible together and alone, and other biblical rhythms as the fuel source for movements.

• Practices: Learn internal and external rhythms of being a disciple and making disciples. You’ll get tips and skills on how to have more effective fellowship and followship.

• Power: If we want to do what Jesus did, let’s do what Jesus did. He only did what He saw the Father doing and walked in the power of the Spirit to do things other people hadn’t to that point. The same power that raised Christ from the dead and empowered His ministry is available to us today. We want to learn more and get reps in together!

We invite you to join us in 2025—whether as a team, a friend group, or an individual hungry to grow. Our hope is that from this gathering, learning communities, networks, and disciple-making structures will launch in cities and beyond, saturating them with the Gospel.

Let’s move beyond Sunday gatherings to become churches that multiply and see our lives, families, churches, communities, and nations transformed.
